Robert G. Marshall founded the company in 1965, drawing on his construction background with the Milcor division of Inland Steel Company. After his passing in 1967, his son Robert T. Marshall continued developing the business. Robert W. “Bobby” Marshall joined the company in 2000 and became president in 2018.
Marshall has operated from 1001 E. New York Street in Indianapolis since 1965, adding another building to the site in 1997. The location provides convenient access to Interstates 65 and 70 while serving contractors throughout central Indiana.
The company supports specifications across its specialty divisions, with bidding support and pricing packages for new and retrofit projects. In 1987, Marshall began marketing Dryvit products in Indiana and continues to provide a broad selection of commercial construction materials from multiple manufacturers.
Its stocked offering includes access doors, roof curbs and rails, washroom accessories, toilet partitions, lockers, fire extinguishers and cabinets, and STI firestop caulking products.
